Credit Card Extras
Depending on which company supplies your credit card and which credit card you have, you are likely to have access to a whole range of additional services that come along with your credit card. These will be different for all credit card providers who each offer their own benefits and advantages to their customers.
Some credit cards will offer you special discounts or benefits from specific stores or companies. So you may for example get a discount for all purchases you make from a specific company. This will especially be the case if the credit card provider is in some way affiliated with a store or major retailer.
Another benefit you may get from your credit card is when you rent a car. Many credit card companies will offer you car rental insurance when you use the card to pay for the car rental. The same may be true of booking flights or other travel purchases. A benefit of the credit card may that it provides you with free travel insurance. These are especially popular with American credit cards.
Loyalty schemes may give you points, air miles, or some other form of reward for every pound you spend with your credit card. So simply by using your credit card, you will be collecting loyalty points that will soon add up. You can then use them to claim a cash refund or some other reward. If you are collecting air miles than you will be able to use them to book free plane tickets or upgrade your flights to business or first class.
One of the other big advantages of making a purchase with your credit card is that the credit card company will have to guarantee the quality of the item you purchase. So if, for example, you buy a sweater with your credit card, and it turns out to be of defective quality, then you will have two options, you can go to the seller of the sweater for a refund. But sometimes you will be unable to seek a refund from the retailer, such as if you bought it from somewhere far away from where you live, or you cannot get a refund from the retailer for whatever reason, in this circumstance, you can instead turn to the credit card company and claim the refund from them instead. This is a major advantage of using your credit card to pay for purchases.

The Best Credit Card Reward: For Those Who Had Been Naughty And Nice
Think about it. If people would normally pay all their credit card balances in time, then what is the purpose of interest rates?
None.
And how will people get the benefits that their credit card company claims? It is through the credit card rewards.
These are freebies or prizes designed to make the big boys and girls happy because they had been naughty and yet nice enough to pay their dues.
Credit card rewards are also one way of enticing people to sign up to them. It tells them about countless benefits they could get just for signing up and getting a credit card.
There are actually a variety of credit card rewards available today. Most of them are being offered by credit card companies all the same. But what the people mostly wanted is the cold cash.
According to some reports, most people, who are entitled for some credit card rewards, would rather have cash for reward than with any other freebies available. They claim that they just want to be feasible. Hence, cash backs were deemed as the best credit card reward
In reality, financial experts claim that the arrangements of cash-back programs are actually the most straightforward credit card rewards than the other types. Plus, consumers can even track it, get hold of it, and see if it really is true.
Moreover, cash-back programs have a wide variety of classifications. It all depends on the type of credit card consumers have. For example, there are credit card rewards intended for college students such as college savings. For retirees, they also have retirement investing rewards.
But for those who do not want cash backs, there are still other credit card rewards that work best for the consumers. There are those rewards about frequent flyer plans and freebie-giveaways.
Indeed, credit card rewards keep on flowing. The reason behind that is to entice people not to delay their payment so as to avoid adding to the pile of credit card debts and numerous bankruptcy cases.
There are still many credit card rewards that would be initiated upon the people especially for those who spend a lot. In fact, some reports say that there is a credit card reward these days that entails the consumer to not pay the annual fee for as long as they get to pay the balance on time. That would be a heaping $3,000 off in the event that the consumers standing balance is $30, 000.
That, indeed, is a lot of money.

How To Make A Home-Made Mother's Day Card
Easy Photo Card
We all have them, photos of our kids. Well grab some construction paper or card stock, a photo and some glue and make this adorable little card.
You will need
construction paper or card stock
photo
scissors
glue
glitter
sheer ribbon
What you do
Fold paper or card stock in half to create a card. Have your child write their greeting inside the card FIRST.
Cut photo out in a heart shape. Glue photo to the front of the card, center it and put it high enough to allow space for the bow at the bottom.
Lay down some newspaper, wax paper, or other paper and set your card on that to catch excess glitter. Use glue to pipe a thick border around the photo. Sprinkle the glitter generously over the glue border. Be sure to completely cover all of the glue. Let it dry about 20 minutes. While the glue is drying, tie your ribbon into a bow and trim off the long ends. Once the glue is dry, carefully lift the card up and tap off all excess glitter. Place a dab of glue onto the back of the ribbon and adhere to the card under your photo. Let it dry completely before doing anything else with it. You can add or take away any of the items listed to make it more personal. Have fun with it! Mom will enjoy it forever!
Making homemade cards are fun and easy. You can use nearly anything you have at home. You can take the formula from above but make a few changes like take fabric and paste it to the card stock to add a decorative look to it then add all the other things on top, with a photo or a drawing. Use your imagination, let it run wild.

Finding the Best Instant Approval Credit Card Application for you
When you start to look at all, the different instant approval credit card offers that you may receive in the mail. You are going to want to really watch what all the different credit card offers you do receive. There are some that may say that you are instantly approved for a credit card but when you actually apply for the credit cards you may soon see that you are not going to be approved for a credit card thru some of the major credit card companies.
If this happens to you there is a chance that you would have a good shot at a department store or gas credit card to start out with. There are many times that the department stores and gas cards are going to be a little more lenient on someone that is trying to build their credit up.
Once you do receive credit cards for your use do not get too carried away with charging everything in site. You are going to want to make sure that you are going to be able to pay for all the charges that you are doing. When you prove to the credit card companies that you are paying your bills one time and being responsible for all of your charges some of the larger credit card companies are going to be more willing to give you a chance with one of their credit cards.
The next time that you receive an instant approval credit card letter in the mail make sure that you are looking at all the different terms and conditions that they state on their letters. That way you are going to know if that would be a card worth applying for. You do not want to apply for all of the card offers that you receive in the mail because then you are just going to end up hurting your credit rating in the end.

What to Look for in a Home - Office Graphics Card
Lets talk about some specifics for the average home/office PC user. This PC is used for word processing, spreadsheets, viewing photos, and even watching a DVD movie or playing a 2D game. Most all of these functions are handled easily by todays low-end graphics cards.
To accomplish these tasks, you can get by with a 32-64MB card, with a clock speed around 166MHz. You can find a good card with these specs for $40. Most of them will have only a VGA connector, but you can find some with DVI and even S-Video for more like $100.
Prevent eye fatigue
If you are looking at spreadsheets and documents for hours on end, the best thing you can do is get a card that has a high refresh rate, at the resolution you work at. A minimum is 75MHz. The higher the resolution, the more memory is used on the card and the harder it is to refresh. If this rate drops below 75MHz, your eyes will be fatigued from the flicker of the monitor. Find out what your monitor can support at the resolution you use, then get a card that can pump it out that fast.
Dont get features you dont need
If you just play on the Internet, or balance your checkbook on the computer, you dont need all those available connectors on the back of your video card. Dont spend a lot of extra money on a card that has features youll never use. If youre just playing solitaire, its not likely youll notice the difference in a $50 card and a $500 card. Another good thing to check is the software that comes with the card. Most come bundled with nice utilities to change resolution and even add some effects to the way XP looks. A lot of them also come with a game or two, which are usually a good indication of what the card can handle.

Prepaid credit cards are also excellent for individuals who have a hard time controlling their spending and prevent the individual from overspending and getting into credit card debt. If your objective is to establish or rebuild you credit over a period of time, make sure the prepaid card issuer reports cardholder transactions to the credit bureaus namely Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union.
It is very easy to obtain a prepaid credit card because there is no credit check or employment verification since the funds you will be using are yours and not that of the prepaid credit card issuer. Prepaid credit card spending limit or credit line is the amount of money you loaded to your prepaid credit card account. Prepaid credit card carries the Visa or MasterCard logo. The difference between a prepaid credit card and a debit card is that the spending transactions are deducted from the amount of money you loaded to your account unlike a debit card where the money spent is subtracted from your checking account and could cause Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) charges. The NSF charges are due to a customer drawing funds from an ATM or making purchases that exceeds the balance in their checking account. How to Get Your First Credit Card?
Sooner or later you get yourselves a credit card; you acquire your first credit card as early as in senior school or when you enter college. And we all encounter the same type of problems while finding the perfect first credit card in terms of finding a credit card issuer or while managing the first credit card. Typically, all banks will ask you for a previous credit report that usually we are unable to provide to their satisfaction. Or sometimes they ask for some kind of guarantee that will prove us to be good paymasters. The first question that a bank will ask you while applying for a first credit card, is about your previous credit history. Since most of the younger generation usually does not possess any previous line of credit, banks tend to look at their first credit card applications disapprovingly. Thus it is not easy to find the right first credit card issuer as well as establishing a good credit score.
You can solve this issue by first looking for a credit card issuer making a special offer. You must search for a bank that tends to offer first credit cards for individuals who are starting off with their first line of credit. You may not have an excessive credit line at the beginning, but if you continue to be a loyal customer to the bank as well as a good paymaster, you will certainly receive the benefits of higher credit in the future.
If you are unable to find the perfect issuer who is willing to start you off with you first line of credit and first credit card then you will have to help yourself by establishing you own credit history. You can begin by getting your first credit cards from either gas stations, supermarkets or from department stores. These offer fidelity credit cards to their customers. From the time that you start owning your first credit card ensure its prudent usage which will help you in the future when you actually re-apply for a bank issued credit card.

Many credit card holders would like to obtain a higher credit card limit. The main purpose for this is that a higher credit card limit enables the purchase of otherwise unaffordable merchandise.
First of all, credit card holders need to remember that to get a higher credit card limit, they must abide by the terms and conditions of the issuing credit card company or bank.
Here are seven tips toward obtaining a higher credit card limit:
1. The most important thing to do toward getting a higher credit card limit is to prove your credit worthiness. This is the first thing that banks and companies look for when approving a higher credit limit.
2. Always spend within your credit card limit. Doing so communicates to your credit card lender that you are capable of controlling your expenses.
3. Use your credit card regularly. Don't keep your credit cards for emergency use only. If you use your credit cards just occasionally, banks and credit card companies will be unable to understand your spending and payment behavior. By using your credit card minimally, most banks and credit card companies will be reluctant to give you a higher credit card limit.
4. Don't make minimum payments. Instead, try to pay for the entire outstanding amount. This method of repayment will usually give you a better chance of getting a higher credit card limit.
5. Attract positive attention from the credit card company or bank by paying interest finance charges once in a while. Obviously, this is not advisable on a continual basis and should only be used as a last resort to increase your chances of getting a higher credit limit.
Proving to credit card companies and banks that you are good borrower can be a convincing way to get a higher credit limit. But be careful because this strategy also means that you will be paying finance charges which can accumulate in a hurry.
6. Avoid late payments. Not only will your payment increase, but you will also have to pay an additional fee for late payment. This will also decrease your chances of getting a higher credit card limit.
7. The best and simplest strategy for obtaining a higher credit card limit is to use your credit card wisely. Always keep in mind that credit card companies keep a record of your transactions and payment patterns, so always pay your credit card bill on time.
The bottom line is that your performance on record at your bank and credit card company will determine whether you'll get a higher credit card limit or not.
And always remember, a higher credit card limit means greater purchasing power, but it also increases the risk of your having to pay greater interest charges and other processing and late fees if you have difficulty repaying the higher balances.

A Credit Card to Suit All Needs
In this day and age, a large number of the population is in possession of a credit card, sometimes even numerous credit cards! Banks and businesses are becoming more and more aware of consumers desires for specialised credit cards, and have thus introduced a myriad of credit cards that are joint ventures between banks and businesses. There are credit cards aimed at men, and credit cards aimed at women.
If youre a sports fan, for instance, then you cant go past the NASCAR credit card. Or theres the NFL credit card, the World Series of Poker credit card, the MLB credit card, and the Bass Pro Shops credit card. People who love to travel would be interested in the British Airways credit card, or the World Perks credit card. If you like your cars, then the Subaru credit card, or the Volkswagen credit card is for you.
With the price of gas escalating out of control in the current world climate, gas reward credit cards are in big demand! Two such cards available at the moment are the Speedway SuperAmerica credit card, which lets you earn up to an 8% rebate on all gas and merchandise purchased at Speedway, SuperAmerica, and Rich Oil locations; and the HESS credit card, which lets you earn up to a 10% rebate on all HESS purchases.
For women, the Starbucks credit card is bound to be a favourite! As is the Borders and Waldenbooks credit card, for all people who enjoy reading. There are even credit cards for entertainment both the Sony credit card and the Universal Entertainment credit cards provide fantastic rewards programs. If you have children, theres also a credit card for you the Toys "R" Us credit card can earn you awesome rebates!
Of course, when it comes to choosing a credit card suitable to your needs, it is important to read the fine print, and not just choose a card because it looks 'pretty'. All of the cards mentioned here can be examined in further detail and compared at http://www.getfastcreditcards.com.

Cash In With A Cash Back Credit Card
A cash back credit card is a fantastic way for you to make some cash, while all the time spending! Although it does only suit the customers who pay their bill in full at the end of each month.
A cash back credit card will give you the chance to earn as you spend. A percentage
is returned to you on an annual basis for every pound that you have spent. This is
usually set at between 0.5% and 2% depending on how generous the credit card
lender is. And as I have said already and I cannot stress enough is you should be
able to pay off your credit card statement in full each month as is the only way that
a cash back credit card will work for you.
A cash back credit card is not for everyone
If you are a borrower then a cash back credit card will only cost you, even though
you will be earning a little back, you will find that this will be eaten up and more by
the interest charges, which are usually on a higher scale of APR.
By not incurring the interest payments, then every pound that you spend on the card
will see a little winging its way back to you and if you do pay your credit card bill
off in full and never have worries about doing so, then why not switch to a cash
back credit card. If you dont already have one, there are only a few ways in which
you can get money from a credit card lender, rather than the many ways in which
they abstract cash from us.
Do not transfer any balances
There is a word of warning that will come with this though, if you decide that you
want to balance transfer an amount from your existing credit card company on to a
cash back credit card, then you should try and avoid this, in fact avoid it altogether.
As any payments you make to the credit card will only go on to pay the amount
transferred and interest will mount up on any purchases that you have made on the
credit card, which will leave you paying back more than the cash back card is
making you.
There are a few good deals on the go right now, with the Amex Blue cash back card
the Amex Platinum and the First Trust Bank cards worthy at a look if you decide that
a cash back credit card is for you.
Remember
1) Pay off your balance every month
2) Cash backs are repaid annually
3) Avoid transferring a balance to your cash back card
So if you have a clear statement at the end of each month then go for it and make
that bargain in the sales save you even more cash.

How To Select the Best Prepaid Phone Card
With all of the choices for prepaid phone cards available, selecting the best card for you can be quite intimidating. Here are the major factors you should consider when buying a phone card. Remember, dont be fooled by advertised low rates, as they tell only part of the story. The true cost of the long distance you will end up paying for depends on factors such as connection, maintenance and service fees. By asking yourself the following questions, you will be able to select the best phone card for your needs:
How often will you use the prepaid phone card? If you use the card regularly (everyday or every other day) until it is used up, you can choose a card with a low rate and a weekly or monthly maintenance fee. By using the card quickly (within a week) you will use up the card before you will have to pay any fees.
How long will you talk on the phone for each call? If you are making long calls (over 20 minutes per call) but infrequently (once a month), you can buy a prepaid phone card that has a connection fee in conjunction with a low per minute rate. This way you will spread out the cost of the connection charge over many minutes that you talk on each call. However if you make a call and no one answers or you leave a message, you will still be charged the connection fee. If you talk infrequently but for longer calls, you dont want to buy a card with a maintenance fee with this scenario because you will be charged a fee for not using the card very often. These fees will eat away at your phone cards balance, reducing the amount of money remaining on the card.
How long will it take for you to use up the phone card? If you plan on having a card for a while and dont make long phone calls, dont buy one with a maintenance fee or connection fee. These cards tend to have a higher per minute rate but they are worth it with this scenario. Remember you can always buy another one or refill a phone card if that option is available. Also, you need to beware of the expiry date on the card from when you activated it. Be sure you can use the entire card up before it expires as any money left on the card once it expires will be gone.
In order to maximize your calling time, you want a card that is going to give you the cheapest total calling time for all calls that you make and not just a low per minute cost. You need to look at all charges to determine which phone card is best depending on how you will use it.

Credit Card Late Charges And How To Avoid Them
It is simply getting ridiculous the charges credit card companies are imposing on consumers who are late making payments. Yes, creditors have a legal right to do what they are doing, however ethically speaking that is certainly open to debate! Let's look at some ways you can avoid costly credit card late fees:
1. Pay your bills on time. This one is obvious. When you get your bill, open it up and pay it right away. Waiting means forgetting or hoping that your payment arrives on time.
2. Pay online. Paying via your computer is faster than mail services, but there is still some lag time from when you authorize a payment and when the payment is finally credited to your credit card account.
3. Automatic payment. If your credit card provider permits it, have them automatically deduct a set amount from your account every month. That way they'll get their funds well in advance of their due date.
4. Fight it. Just because the credit card company said that your payment was late doesn't mean that it was late. Call them up and ask them to reverse the charge -- now as high as $39 -- and to adjust their records accordingly.
Allowing credit card companies to run roughshod over you is one sure way to worsen your credit card woes. Know your rights and take action as required.

Credit Card Transfers
Be careful who you trust with your credit card transfers.
Credit card fraud happens on a regular basis now, for which reason you should be very careful how you use your credit card information. You should be very careful whenever you do a credit card transfer so that you can make sure that you do not end up with a stolen credit card. The first thing to keep in mind is that if you start to feel as though the company you're about to use for a credit card transfer is not trustworthy, then you should trust your instincts.
You should always make sure that the company you're thinking of doing a credit card transfer with has not been in trouble for stealing credit information before. You should also check to see how long the company has been in business, that way you can be sure that they have not been doing anything they shouldn't with your credit information.
Generally if you're going to make credit card purchases online, you should only give your credit card information to companies that are fairly official and that have been established for a long time. You should also make sure that the credit information is on a professional looking page - one of the tip offs that you should not be giving a company your credit information is that the page might not look very professional at all.
If you're going to do a lot of purchasing online, you might want to look into getting an account with a company that will take care of dealing with your credit information for you. For instance, if you're going to be buying a lot on Ebay, a PayPal account will likely come in handy. This company can be trusted with your credit card information, and you won't have to worry about other companies getting your credit information.
Whether you're buying online or from a store near you, you should always be careful regarding credit card transfers. If you're not, you could find yourself dealing with a stolen credit card. However, if you are careful, then you should be able to avoid most of the problems that can come up if the wrong company gets your credit card information.

Here are some of the best deals
There are a few good deals on the go right now, with the Amex Blue cash back card the Amex Platinum and the First Trust Bank cards worthy at a look if you decide that a cash back credit card is for you.
So if you have a clear statement at the end of each month then go for it and make that bargain in the sales save you even more cash.
What To Expect From Your Credit Card Company
When you are looking into applying for a new credit card, you should ask yourself what you want from your credit card company. You might be looking for the best rates, the most friendly customer service or affiliation with your current bank. Whatever it is that you want from your credit card company, you are going to be more likely to get what you want if you know what it is. Once you have determined what you want, you can make a checklist of important qualities and contact each credit card company that you are considering applying with in order to assess their abilities to provide the services you require.
Determining what you want from your credit card company
By brainstorming about all of the important qualities of a credit card company and ranking those qualities in order of importance to you, you should be able to effectively determine what you want from your credit card company. Some of the factors that you should consider include:
Balance transfer options
Credit card companys history
Credit line
Customer service availability
Fees for extending over your credit limit
Fees for late payment
Friendliness of customer service
Interest rates
Lender credibility
Web payment options
Some of this information is going to be easily obtained through the website for the credit card company. Other qualities will require communication with a customer service representative from the credit card company.
Preparing to interview the credit card company
Once you have a list of the qualities you desire in your credit card company, you should make a list of each credit card company you are considering applying for a credit card with. Then you should draw up a checklist based on each of the credit card company qualities you have determined to be important to you. For example, if you want a card with a high credit line, a low interest rate, and a friendly customer service representative, you should include those three qualities on your checklist in addition to any other qualities which would be bonus qualities for you. Organization is the key to creation of your credit card company checklist.
Interviewing the credit card company
Using your checklist of credit card company qualities, you will call each credit card company and speak with a customer service representative. You will go through each quality on your credit card company checklist and get information about that quality from each customer service representative. You should make notes as you are speaking so that you will remember which credit card company offers which benefits. You should be aware that the credit card company has probably instructed its representatives to try to get you to sign up with the credit card company while you are on the phone. You should be firm in saying that you need time to think it over. A good credit card company will respect this wish.
Applying with the credit card company
Once you have interviewed each credit card company, you should make a rank-ordered checklist of the companies with which you would like a credit card. Starting with the first credit card company, you can make your application on the phone, through the mail or online. You should wait to hear back from your first choice credit card company before moving on to the next credit card company. The reason for this is that too many credit card applications reflects poorly on your credit history and now that you are ready to select your credit card company, you dont want to jeopardize your chances of being approved.

Why You Should Have A Credit Card In Your Own Name
If you have ever been asked by your wife, husband, child or friend to have someone else as an authorised signatory to you, i.e. a supplemental signatory, on your credit card account you no doubt gave this some serious thought. If you agreed to the request, the following are some reason why you should have a credit card in your own name and they have a credit card in their own name.
Credit History
Possibly the main reason why you should have a credit card in your own name is the effect it has on your credit history.
In short, you have had to manage your financial affairs very astutely in order to gain a sufficient credit worthiness to apply for, and be approved, a credit card. Conversely, any supplemental signatory to you on your credit card doesnt have to do anything as the card is relying on your credit history to determine the risk of the third person. This may sound a little harsh, but if you think about it you are the one who is responsible for repaying the card, so why shouldnt they rely on your ability to repay rather than some third person who has no obligation to repay them if there is an outstanding debt?
Now, you may well be thinking: Thats not a problem, Ill control their spending. And, you may even be able to manage that feat. But, heres another reason why you should have a credit card in your name and they should have a credit card in their name. Throughout the time that they are supplemental signatories to you on your credit card account, they are not enhancing their own credit worthiness nor are they affecting their credit rating. So, even if they are good supplemental signatories and never spend money on your card without first seeking and getting your approval, it has no positive affect on their credit history. On the other hand, if they were to have a credit card in their own name, and were good and managed their account well, all of this would add lots of brownie points to their credit history!
Lose - Lose Situation
The reason why having a supplemental signatory on your credit card account is a lose-lose situation is not only because you take on the financial risk that they will behave themselves, but also they have no upside if they behave well. Also, keep in mind that if your supplemental cardholder runs amok and spends, spends, spends, it is your credit history that is being affected, not theirs!
What Does This Mean?
It means that you could work years building up the perfect credit history and rating only to have it all torn down overnight by someone else. So, if you dont want that to happen, make sure have these good reasons why you should have a credit card in your own name only the next time someone asks you if they can become a supplemental signatory on your credit card account.

You need to look at all charges to determine which phone card is best depending on how you will use it.

credit card applications
Credit Card Applications
If you want a credit card, you know that you have a lot of choices out there, and it is hard to know what card will be the best for you and your needs. You may even be getting offers in the mail, though you should realize that receiving an offer in the mail does not necessarily mean that you will indeed qualify for that particular card. If you are so-so with your credit, you may have to fill out a bunch of credit card applications before you find one that will give you what you want at a good rate.
The thing you should remember about credit card applications is that each time you fill one out, this will show up on your credit score. Im not sure exactly why this is, or what is says about you as a consumer, but I have been told that this is a bad thing. Its not just about credit card applications either, as its also about any type of credit or loan you may try to get. Each inquiry into your credit history is recorded. Perhaps if someone sees that you are trying to get money anywhere you can, they may think you are a bad risk for some reason. Im not really sure.
You can fill out the credit card applications that you get in the mail, but make sure you wait a while before you do, regardless of the expiration date that may appear on the offer. You shouldnt be pressured into anything, and if you want to think about it, you should. Save up quite few different credit card applications before you decide which one you would like to use. Consider the terms they are offering you, the interest rate, and also any other special features that may come with each particular card.
You can also find credit card applications online, and these can be quite time savers if you want to go that route. Just remember that you need to take care of your finances and you dont want to give out your social security number over an un-secure link online, and you dont want to give it to just anyone. Only fill out online credit card applications for companies that are well known to you and that offer you a secure server in which to send your financial information. There are many out there just waiting to get their hands on the information they need to steal your identity, and each of these things could easily be included on any credit card application you find online or in your mailbox.

greeting card designs
The greeting card is a universal symbol of caring and warmth. The sale of greeting cards produces nearly 7.5 billion dollars in revenue for the United States alone. Considering that greeting cards are sold in almost every country in the world its a huge business.
Greeting card designs are ever varied and complex, and range in scope from birthdays to Christmas to get well, and everything in between. You can find greeting card designs for almost every imaginable occasion.
With the invention of e-cards (cards sent via the internet,) greeting card designs are even more creative than ever before. Whats more, you can start your own greeting card designs business with a little initiative and the right facts.
There are a couple of ways to break into the greeting card business. First off, you can freelance your greeting card designs and hope someone takes notice, or you can create your own series of greeting card designs and become owner, seller and entrepreneur all on your own. Obviously, freelancing offers incentives in the fact that its significantly cheaper than starting your own business. You can focus specifically on your greeting card designs, but you have to prepare yourself for rejection.
Working as your own greeting card artist requires hours of dedication, motivation and lets face it money. If you have a drive to succeed and the willingness to turn your greeting card designs into a life-long career, you may do well as a greeting card designer. You can work in any outlet you choose, and create whatever cards your imagination can come up with.
In order to be successful with your greeting card designs, you must do your research. Research what greeting card designs are popular now, and go from there. You have to have an idea of what sells before you can start your business.
It would also be extremely helpful to learn about the other aspect of the greeting card business if you choose to be your own boss. Youll need to learn where to buy your supplies and what to get, how to market your products, and finding someone to distribute your products, among others. Learning how to sell your greeting card designs is only the beginning, but if you have a keen entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to succeed, you may do exceptionally well.
The bottom line to remember is to do your research. Find out what sells, create cards based on what you like to receive and you can do well in this business. With initiative and hard work, your greeting card designs can be selling next to those of hundreds of other designers.

Low Interest Credit Cards Have Many Advantages
When credit cards are used wisely they can be very beneficial to the consumer. A low interest credit card can be exceptionally beneficial. Many people use the same credit card that they have had for years. Some people still have the very first credit card that they ever received and just simply have never thought to switch to a card with a lower rate. There is a degree of comfort in habit, but shopping around for a lower interest rate credit card can quickly prove that switching is worth the little amount of effort it takes to do so.
With credit card companies aggressively competing for your business, it is easy to find a card with a low interest rate these days. Of course your credit score will determine how low of an interest rate you will be able to get. There are many helpful websites that have made the process of comparing credit card offers easy for the consumer like http://www.amex-visa-mastercard.com
If you carry a balance on your credit card from month to month like many people do, switching to a card with a lower interest rate can save you hundreds of dollars in interest. If paying off your credit card debt is your goal, having your credit card balance on a low rate card will allow you to pay it off much faster than a higher rate card will. Many credit card companies even offer a 0% interest rate on balance transfers. This is a great way to get your credit card debt paid down without having to pay interest on it.
Even if you pay your credit card balance in full each month, having a low interest credit card can still be advantageous. We all hope that nothing will ever happen to negatively effect our financial situation but as the saying goes, you just never know. Having a low interest credit card in your wallet can serve as a safety net if something should ever happen that would not allow you to pay off your balance every month.
Having a low interest credit card can help your financial situation, whatever it may be.

card tricks
Card Tricks
Card tricks are often fun for those who can do them, and for those who get to see them. There is something about the illusion of magic that makes people want to see more. Magic is a long time hobby for many people, and has been around for ages. Card tricks are the most common tricks done by those who do tricks at parties or to entertain friends. Not only are they great fun, they are easier than they look.
I only know one card trick, but its a good one. I am pretty clumsy actually, and I am amazed when I can pull it off. Its a matter of concentration, and the ability to move my hands fast enough for the other person to be a little confused. At the same time, I have to direct their attention somewhere else so they arent watching what I am doing. I guess those are the basics to any magic trick, but for me, its pretty hard. As with any card tricks, you have to practice to get it right.
You can find all sorts of card tricks on the Internet. Some are kits you can order with everything you need to learn a few basic card tricks. Other times, you can find instructions on how to do some different tricks, and how to do them right. If you are a bit clumsy like I am, it may take you a while to get the hang of it, but given time, there should be no reason why you cant master a few good card tricks to entertain your friends.
While I know only a few card tricks, I make sure I have them right before I attempt them. There is nothing worse than someone who cannot yet do card tricks bumbling through the trick. If what you are doing is obvious to those around you, you arent doing the card tricks properly. If you search for magic or card tricks online, you may find tips to help you master your tricks.
My trick is great, and I learned it from an ex boyfriend who refused for the longest time to teach it to me. The trick involves someone choosing a card. Once the card is chosen, the card number and symbol are written on paper and folded up securely. That paper is then burned with a lighter until it is a pile of ashes. I then rub the ashes on the back of my hand and the number and symbol from the card they choose appears there. Its always a hit. No matter what card tricks you want to do, make sure you do them right, or its not really a trick at all.

Credit Card Security
The information on your credit card is not as secure as you might believe. It is possible for anyone to acquire your credit card information simply by hacking into a merchant database, stealing your card, or asking you for the information it contains. Whilst the first scenario has a lower chance of happening, it is not impossible. If this happens, credit card companies will notify their users and reissue the credit cards to replace those in which security has been compromised.
On your part, having your card or identity stolen has a greater effect on you as an individual. If this happens with you being aware of it, you should report the loss to your credit card company immediately. In most cases, it has been found that victims of credit card theft pay no more than $50 for all unauthorized purchases charged by the thief. It is also a good idea to always keep a photocopy of both sides of your credit card as well as the contact number of your card company in case of emergencies like this.
At time, it may not be easy for you to realize that you may have unwittingly disclosed information on your credit card to strangers. Unsolicited calls by strangers asking users for their credit card and social security numbers are one of the many scams that have plagued users. It is therefore important to remember that you are not obligated to disclose your credit card number to anyone over the phone.
Apart from that, when making purchases with your credit card, you should never sign on a blank receipt. Keep all your receipts to prevent others from obtaining your credit card number and the expiration date. Usually, these two pieces of information are enough to allow an online transaction to go through. As for online transactions, always use a private computer to make the transactions rather than on a computer in a cyber cafe. You should also make all card transactions on your own, even if you are paying for someone else. Finally, when you are closing your account, it is best to cut up your card before mailing it back to the credit card company.
The information on your credit card is not as secure as you might believe. It is possible for anyone to acquire your credit card information simply by hacking into a merchant database, stealing your card, or asking you for the information it contains. Whilst the first scenario has a lower chance of happening, it is not impossible. If this happens, credit card companies will notify their users and reissue the credit cards to replace those in which security has been compromised.

online card games
I can not understand this obsession that my sister has with online card games. It seems that playing card games online, much of the thrill of the normal game would disappear, but she seems to like nothing better. It started as a casual hobby, but has quickly become a life destroying, time sucking obsession, from which there is no escape at all. Every morning, she plays online card games. Every evening she plays more online card games. At first is was just a simple game of hearts now again, but now it encompasses everything from bridge to go fish, to some of these new fangled trading card games like Magic the Gathering. I swear, she even has online card game message groups which she subscribes to to get the latest online card game news. How could online card games even have news I mean, what new could happen. Did someone discover a magical fourteenth card in the suit?
Me, personally, I can not stand the online card games which seem to bring my dear sister such pleasure in her life. I can not even see the point of these online card games. I mean for me, playing card has always been about the social aspect of the thing. You get together with friends, have a few drinks, deal a few hands, and maybe place down some small wagers. It does not cost more than a night out with the buddies, and usually it costs less, and it is just a great way to hang out with the friends and catch up on what is new in each others lives. But with these online card games I don't know. It just seems so distant, and you are playing with strangers. And LOL is just no substitute for the real sound of your friends laughter as the hand is finished and another one is dealt.
I think that the internet has many good things about it, but I think that in some ways it has also robbed us of some of our meaningful social connections. I mean, people play card games online, football games online they even practice dating online. It is great to be able to exchange information at about the speed of light, but life is not just about exchanging information. It is about connecting with people, having time to talk and play and laugh. And you simply can not do that online.

With these thoughts in mind, you can start looking for a business credit card that will help you with whatever point youre at in your business.
How much do you need?
If you have a business that needs to make constant purchases, you need to have a business credit card that has a higher limit or no limit at all. If not, you may want to look for a business credit card that works with the growth of your business needs.
What perks do you want?
Just like any other business credit card, you want to see if theres anything that you gain from using the card. Many businesses like to choose a business credit card that allows them to accumulate airline miles that can then be redeemed for business or personal flights. You might also want to find a business credit card that gives discounts with certain retailers or offers a cash back incentive throughout the year.
How convenient is it?
And your business credit card needs to have a lot of flexibility for your business needs. You might want to find out if there are ways to use your credit card through credit card checks or by cash advances. Some business like a credit card that is accepted at most retailers (Mastercard and Visa are widely accepted).

Why A Platinum Master Card May Be The Card For You
What are the advantages to you when you get a Platinum Master Card? Every time I get a credit card, or consider getting one, I ask myself a question. I ask myself what the advantages are and whether or not it is something that is worth my time. You should do the same thing. A Platinum Master Card has certain advantages to it that will likely make it a worthwhile card for you to have in your wallet on a day to day basis. It is useful, inexpensive, and will accommodate your spending needs no matter what.
The first advantage to a Platinum Master Card is that there is no annual fee. An annual fee for a credit card is the amount of money a company charges you each year to carry the card. For the most part, there is no reason to have a card with an annual feel because so many are available without it. If you are looking at a card that offers airline miles or something of that sort, then it might be worth an annual fee, but for the most part you should stick to free cards. Since a Platinum Master Card does not have an annual fee you shouldnt feel obligated to use it more than you want and will thus control your spending just that much more.
The second thing to consider about your Platinum Master Card is that it can be used most anywhere. With some other credit card companies you will run into places that take credit cards, but not that specific credit card type. The Platinum Master Card is pretty universal and you will find that most any place that does accept credit cards will accept it. That can go a long way in making sure you can spend where you want when you want. In fact, any time you are looking to a credit card of any brand you should make sure that it is going to be accepted in the places you frequent the most as well as places you will need to go in case of certain circumstances.
Thirdly, if you qualify for a Platinum Master Card, you will qualify for a significant monthly limit. You never know when you are going to want to or need to make a large purchase and it sure would be good to know that your card will accommodate the amount you need to spend. Most Platinum Master Cards have fairly high limits and should be able to help you in most any spending situation. That makes it a versatile and worthwhile card in itself.
Getting the right credit card is confusing at times since there are so many available out there. The Platinum Master Card should at least get a look from you for its usefulness, inexpensive or non-existent fees, and high limits. Those three factors mean that you will be able to use it when you want and that with it in your wallet you will have peace of mind. Given the chance, a Platinum Master Card just might be the right card for you.

How to Budget Your Credit Card Spending
Although acquiring a credit card is much easier than adhering to a budget, planning your credit card expenses is esential to help prevent dire consequences from credit card utilization. This may stem from the fact that a credit card is by no means a mobile automated teller machine. It is however a means to get you out of an emergency situation such as a car breakdown, or for travel convenience. The following budgeting tips will provide you with great insights on wise credit card usage.
Spend within your capability
With or without a credit card, one should always spend only what they can afford. In fact, you should spend like you dont have a credit card because at the end of the day, you will have to pay back what you charged. It is true that you should never use your credit card to settle your grocery bills or to quelch your shopping needs. With all the discounts and bargains clamoring for your attention, it can be annoying to know that you will be paying more for it because of credit card interest rates.
Have a good concept of the Credit Limit
Rather than viewing the credit limit as the amount of money you can use every month, think of it as a loan that you must repay within 30 days. Then, tabulate the amount of interest that you have to pay if you decide to settle your repayment over a period of six months. This way, the $7500 will look less tempting and when calls with offers of higher credit limit plans come in, you will have the good sense to put the phone down.
Do not let your credit accumulate
You need to be responsible to own a credit card but as luck would have it, there are emergencies that are unavoidable. In this case, you should settle your credit card bills as soon as possible. You have to be self-disciplined on this because credit accumulates and credit cards work on compound interests. The longer you delay your repayment, the more you have to pay.

Check Cards versus Credit Cards
When you think about the check card verses, the credit card you may want to know what the difference is with the two of them. There are a few different ideas that go with the check card and credit cards. One main similarity is that you are able to make purchases at all the department stores and gas stations all over the place.
When it comes to the differences between the check card and the credit card there are a couple different features that they both carry with them. For one the check card is a debit card that is linked directly to your checking account. With a check card you are able to use your card as a credit card for your purchases with the exception is that you are still paying for the transaction that you are doing right there. That is because even when you are using your check card as a credit card your bank will freeze the funds that are needed to pay for the purchase that you are doing. With that you are going to still pay for the transaction right out of your checking account instead of paying for it later in the month. With some of the check cards, the bank does not charge you a fee for using your check card for any purchases. That would be an advantage that you are not going to have to pay any fees for using the check card and also that you are not going to have to pay any interest on your check card purchases as well.
When you are using the convince of a credit card you are going to find that it seems to give you a little less hassle when you are a little short on cash. When you are using a credit card when your checking account is low on funds, you will find that it is going to be a lifesaver in the time of need. The only thing is that you are going to have to probable pay some interest on your purchases that you have made on the credit card throughout the month. You may even have to pay an annual fee for the credit card as well.
There are many different opinions regarding which is better to use all the time when it comes to a check card and a credit card. You are going to just think about which is going to be best for your situation and if you feel that you may be at a better advantage by having both then get a credit card but each person is different on what their needs are.

Debt Elimination - 3 Ways To Eliminate and Reduce Credit Card Debt
When you are in over your head with credit card debt, relief can seem miles away. Sometimes it seems like you are working as hard as you can to make the minimum payments or even to just barely cover the interest on your balances. If you want to get out of the cycle of credit card debt follow these 3 easy steps and you will be on your way to financial freedom.
1. Switch to a lower rate card.
If you can switch your balance from a higher rate card to a lower rate card, you can save quite a bit of money. Even a card with a 5% lower interest rate will make a difference on the amount you owe on your monthly credit card statement. Take the money you save and apply it to the balance to reduce your debt even faster.
2. Pay on the principle.
It is very easy to fall into the trap of just paying the minimum payment on your credit card statement, but if you make a practice of this, you will never get out of debt. The only way to eliminate credit card debt is to plunge in and pay it off. The more you pay on the principle the less you will be paying in interest, and you will start to see a difference in the amount of money you are being billed each month.

3. Dont add to your debt.
Make it a rule that the credit cards are only used for special or emergency purchases. Stop buying things like groceries or clothes using your credit card. Chances are if you are going to put an item on the card, you will often end up buying things you hadnt planned to buy. These impulse buys may be convenient, but they add up, and you will be paying for them long after their usefulness is gone.

Gas credit cards are one of the many new types of credit cards being offered by credit card companies that are aimed to get consumers attention. Almost everyone buys gas and when a credit card company teams up with a gas company it means more customers for both companies. With gas prices rising any way to save money on gas purchases is great. Credit card companies realized this and saw it as a way to get more customers. With the stiff competition between credit card companies they are always looking for a way to be better than one another and offer the best deals possible to their customers. Learning about the types of cards and following some tips to choosing one will help you find the best gas credit card.
Gas credit cards work like any other reward card. The concept is that when you use your gas credit card to make purchases you earn points that you can then use to get free gas. Credit card companies team up with a gas company and both logos are on the card. The points you earn can be used at the gas station that is tied in with your credit card.
There are other gas credit cards that are issued by the gas company only. These cards are easy to use like credit cards, but can only be used at a specific gas station for gas purchases or purchases inside the gas station. These cards are convenient if you need to track your gas purchases or just do not like to carry cash and prefer not to charge gas on your regular credit card.

Backing Up Compact Flash Card
Compact Flash card backup: the benefits
Backing up one's Compact Flash card has a number of benefits: storage, convenience and reliability.
Backup for storage
First of all, backing up one's Compact Flash card to a laptop is great for storing all kinds of data, stored on a card, like images, audio files and what not. Since Compact Flash card size is limited (to 4Gb for now), backing up one's card can be a convenient way of using a single card perpetually.
Backup for convenience
Secondly, backing up one's Compact Flash card can be a convenient way of copying data between laptops. Using such a small medium, which can fit in one's hand, to copy data between computers seems to be rather comfortable, as one does not have to connect the computers, or use another medium as an intermediate.
Backup for security
Thirdly, backing up one's Compact Flash card to a laptop can be a way to secure the data, stored on the card, in case a file gets deleted, damaged, or the card itself gets damaged or list. When coping data from a Compact Flash card to a laptop, the files will also be stored on a laptop and will be ready to replace the damaged or lost files.
As seem from above, Compact Flash card backup has a number of benefits. To reap the benefits, one can download Handy Backup here www.handybackup.net/download.shtml and use it to backup one's Compact Flash card to a Windows laptop or any PC with the right adapter.

Better the Devil You Know
To save money on your credit cards, doesnt always necessary mean that you have to switch providers to get a better deal, far from it as you can always start on your own doorstep and ask your current credit card lender if they can offer you a better deal than the one that you are getting at present.
This should be your first step if you are looking to get a better deal, but are unsure, as you are more than happy with the service that your current credit card gives you. Though you may feel that it maybe easier to simply change to a different lender, then this couldnt be further from the truth and at the end of the day, the credit card that you have should be one that suits you and not the credit card issuer.
If you are in fact happy with your present credit card and the benefits and service that you have then read on and find out how simple that getting a better deal can be.
Firstly you have to ask yourself if you keep your payments up to date, have not missed any and have an overall good payment history with your credit card company, if so then you have the right cards to play when it comes to asking for a reduction in your APR charges. If you fail to have any of the criteria that has been mentioned, then before you can ask your credit card issuer for a better deal, you may find that you have to get your credit history up to scratch.
Once you have ascertained that you have the right credentials, look out for some of the better deals that you can currently find in the credit card market at the moment, so that you can tell them about the better offers that have been sent to you from the other credit card lenders, it is just another weapon to use to get what you want and with a good payment history and long service wit the card, most credit card companies do not wish to loose good customers, so even if it sounds a bit like blackmail you have to get the best deal for you.
Once you contact your credit card issuer, remember to always stay polite, even more so if the person on the other side of the phone is lets say having a bad day, simply ask to be put on to a supervisor or manager and while doing so remain calm and polite.
If you get to the stage that the credit card company has made you a better offer (I said If because always be prepared that your credit card issuer declines your request) see if it matches up against the other offers you have written down, tell them so and if they cant beat or even come close to matching it, then let them know that you will be cancelling your account with them and that you want it confirmed, if by doing this and they still dont budge on the APR, then maybe who ever you move to, will value your custom more than they did.

Save On A Credit Card Transfer Your Balance
Saving cash on your credit card is not something that is usually at the top of your agenda, as most of us trudge from day to day with our credit cards and do not give it a second thought when we make a purchase.
This may be a good thing as you could be comfortable with your spending levels and have no worries about meeting your monthly statement. Your credit card is not giving you any problems, as to make you think about your financial position.
Though, to go to the other extreme, if you do not give your credit card a second thought, but feel that because you can at least pay the minimum payment each month, thinking that you are paying your debt, then you should start thinking about where your credit card is taking you.
No matter which of the two positions that you find yourself in, the fact of the matter is that we should all be trying to save our hard earned for ourselves and not to be handing over more than we should.
With interest rates being as low as they have ever been and the credit card lenders who have either a 0% balance transfer facility, a 0% purchases facility or both on the one credit card, then the tools are in place for you save cash. Even if you feel that the APR on these types of offers, revert to one that is higher than the one that you have currently, then looking for a credit card that has a better fixed APR than the one that you have now, cant be such a bad idea can it?
If you are unsure about how a balance transfer works, it is quite simple really and all it involves is finding the best 0% credit card deal that suits you and once you have been accepted for the card, you then move your existing balance from your old card to the new one, thats it.
If you have a new credit card issuer who is offering a longer term 0% deal, then the more money there is to be saved on interest payments. There is one word of warning, if you have a new credit card that is only giving you 0% on a balance transfer, then spending on this card will only mean that the interest will add up on any new purchases that you make. As payments that you make will be put towards paying off the balance transfer debt first. So if you wish to continue spending, your best bet would be to get a new card that will give you 0% on purchases as well as balance transfers, if not then it would be a good idea not to close the account of your previous credit card, so that when you spend you know that when you make a payment to this card the money is going to paying back the new purchases.
So while this is going on you will not be spending on the new credit card, but you will be safe in the knowledge that you are saving the interest payments on the old debt.

Do I Need That Credit Card?
Nowadays almost everyone has one, almost everyone has used one and many more are looking to change theirs. What are they? The answer would be a credit card.
You might ask yourself do I really need a credit card?
Credit cards have many advantages, the first one being that they give you the luxury of buy now, pay later. Avid shoppers can even get a number of incentives due to redeemable reward points, free air miles, cash back on purchases and more, all through a reward credit card.
Online
The internet has changed the way retailers sell, add to it the luxury of credit card use and what you get is the complete convenience of shopping directly from the comfort of home. The credit card company should cover you and you will not be held liable for fraudulent use of your credit card online. You should check the terms and conditions of your credit card agreement for these details.
Abroad
Moreover, you can make purchases using your credit card when you go abroad without having to care about the hassles of currency exchange because that is for your credit card to think about. Plus many credit cards offer payment protection. A major drawback of this would be that it will cost you extra every time that you use the card abroad, normally a flat rate of around 3% on the transaction cost will be added to your credit card balance.
Emergencies
Credit cards prove to be a boon when you think of emergency situations. God forbid, you meet with an accident. You do not have enough money at that moment. What will you do? Wait for an angel? Well, you do not need that. You can always rely on your credit card and pay for those expenses. Moreover, there are some credit cards that provide you insurance.
Affinity Cards
There are also credit cards through which you can forward money to your favorite charity or organization you are affiliated to and want to contribute monetarily. Thus, the more you will spend through your affinity card the more money will go to your affiliate.
People wrongly accuse credit cards of making spendthrifts out of them. However, this wonder can actually help you save a lot. Moreover, if you have bad credit history a credit builder product like unsecured credit card or bad credit- credit card can actually help you payback your debt and build back good credit rating.

About Playing Cards
There are a wide variety of playing cards. Some card decks are game specific particularly Pinochle cards, Bridge Decks, and Poker decks. Other card games are Kings Corner, Solitaire, Gin Rummy, War, Old Maid and Slap Jack.
There are various categories of games that can be played using playing cards. There are fortune telling cards such as Tarot cards, Author cards, and book cards. There are historical fact games, special interest games and a wizard card game.
There are educational card decks such as Arithmetic flash cards, Trivia fact cards, and many more. There are self help card decks such as blessing cards, affirmation cards, conversation cards, and corporate training card decks.
While it is not a game strictly speaking, building a house of cards is fun. The foundation is two card placed facing each other on the short end of the card and a card is place on either side of the two cards. As you move out you can also move up in height. Sounds easy right...NOT!!!! The slightest breath of air can tumble your card castle in seconds. The secret is to not breathe, have a window open, or anyone in the room with you. Since that isnt possible, you need to be extremely light handed while building your card house.
Card decks have the number and the suit imprinted on the front with some kind of a design on the back. They are printed with a plain matte finish, a glossy finish or no real finishing at all. Laminated card decks are best because they will last much longer than other types of decks.

Should I Use An Agency For Credit Card Debt Settlement?
Some people like to deal with their credit card debt all by themselves. However, some people do use credit card debt settlement agency. There can be various reasons for going for a credit card debt settlement agency. Some people use a credit card debt settlement agency because they are not comfortable in dealing with credit card debt settlement by themselves. Some go for a credit card debt settlement agency because they dont have the time to do the research and evaluate options for credit card debt settlement. Others just want professional advice and hence they contact credit card debt settlement agency.
Whatever be the reason for employing a credit card debt settlement agency, a good credit card debt settlement agency would surely be of help. However, its important that you select a good credit card debt settlement agency. Do not fall for ads of credit card debt settlement agencies that promise to wipe off your debt overnight. No credit card debt settlement agency or anyone else can do that. You should select a credit card debt settlement agency which has verifiable credentials or a credit card debt settlement agency that you know has a good reputation.
If some friend has been through this process previously, they might be able to recommend a credit card debt settlement agency to you. Sometimes you will find ads that promise impossible things and ask you to call a telephone number thats a premium line. So beware, or else you might end up paying heavy phone bills that would just add to your debt. Some credit card debt settlement agencies might be having a very low fee but no reputation. These are again the credit card debt settlement agencies that you should avoid. However, once you find a reputable credit card debt settlement agency, do not try to hide debt related information from them, no matter how bad your debt it. That is another reason for looking for a reputable credit card debt settlement agency. If the credit card debt settlement agency is not a reputable one, you would not be able to trust them; and trust is very important here otherwise you will neither be able to tell them the full story and nor follow their advice.
That said, its important to note that no credit card debt settlement agency will be able to help you if you are not ready to help yourself. So, follow the advice given by credit card debt settlement agency and practice good spending habits.
